Siberian Husky Club NSW Empty Siberian Husky Club NSW

Post by mysticpaw Mon Feb 15, 2010 6:09 am

The Siberian Husky Club of NSW will be holding an information day on
    Sunday 18th April, 2010.
Location: Nurragingy Reserve, Eucalyptus area. Knox Rd Doonside.
The day will start from 10am. We are hoping to cover most things the
general public may want to know about Siberians, grooming, health, basic training,
    and showing.
We are also hoping to have some agility and sledding equipment available .
The Club will also be providing a Bar B Q lunch.
This is the first time an event like this has been held by the Club and any
input or ideas would be most welcome. There are two committee meetings to
be held before the day, so any ideas can be addressed at the meetings.
Even if you can't make the day, there will be a flyer that can be downloaded and
You can perhaps assist by displaying them in your local area. There will also be
Flyers available at this year's Royal that can be given to the general public.
Anyone who would like to assist on the day would be most welcome.

    Cheers

Hi all, just a reminder of the information day the Club is holding. It is a great chance for those who want to check out the sport of dog sledding and speak with people who are involved in sledding without having to travel to the forests. There will be plenty of experienced Husky owners there to talk about everything Husky and even a free BBQ. For the experienced musher and dog owner it is a relaxed way to start the season. If you have pretty sled dogs there will be people there to talk about showing also.

Come for the fun, the info and the food and support a new initiative from the SHCNSW to promote the breed and the sport of sledding.
