The Wild Dog Derby is now less than 3 weeks away and entries will be closing shortly. Please help us with our planning by getting your entries in on time.

Wild Dog is an IFSS World Cup event - the first one to be held in Australia. World Cup classes are 1 Dog, 2 Dog, 4 Dog and 6 Dog, but not 3 Dog. However, 3 Dog teams will run the same track as 4 Dog, so have the option to enter the 4 Dog class if they wish to compete for IFSS points.

Visit the Wild Dog Mushers web site for more information.

The race update file for the Wild Dog Derby, containing last minute information, is
available on the Wild Dog web site http://www.wilddogmushers.com/
together with the programme of events for the weekend.

If anyone wishes to attend the Saturday evening banquet, and hasn't already
booked, please let us know immediately - we have to order the food NOW!

The weather forecast is for ideal temperatures, but it could be wet on Saturday, so
be prepared. The tracks are in excellent condition at the moment though and
should stand up well to a bit of rain.

Note that we will be offering canicross and bikejoring fun events on Saturday for
anyone wanting to give it a try. Bring either your running shoes or your mountain
    bike!

    Cheers

    Wild Dog Derby Empty Results

Post by Dave Brown Tue Jul 13, 2010 6:49 am

Results for the 2010 Eagle Pack Wild Dog Derby are available on the
Wild Dog Mushers web site, or download the pdf file directly.

Congratulations to all the class winners and placegetters, and thanks
to everyone who helped make the event successful - the mushers (especially
those who traveled long distances), the race officials, volunteers, helpers
and club committee members - without you, we couldn't run the race.

Thanks to the many donors and supporters, including our major sponsors,
Eagle Pack and Neagles Rock Vineyards, and to IFSS for granting World Cup
status to the race - Australia's first!
